What Is in Thanksgiving?

Exploring the power of thanksgiving to unlock multiplication, resurrection, divine intervention, and revelation in a believer's life.

What Is in Thanksgiving?

Most times, even as Christians, when certain occurrences come our way, we tend to complain, not knowing that we are just complicating the matter. The truth is that thanksgiving procures God's attention and intervention.

Thanksgiving is your access to multiplication and increase. In John 6, Jesus fed five thousand men with five barley loaves and two small fishes. He took the items and gave thanks, and by the time He was distributing them, the items had been transformed from a singular state to a multiplied state through thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is your access to resurrection and life. There may be dead situations around your life, in your life, and about your life. All you have to do is give God thanks. In John 11, Jesus gave thanks at the tomb of Lazarus and a miracle happened. Thanksgiving also brings God's intervention. In 2 Chronicles 20, the Israelites set singers before their army and when they began singing praises, the Lord set ambushments against their enemies.

Thanksgiving is your access to revelation. When you approach God's Word without joy in your heart, you may not have access to its truths. Isaiah 12:3 tells us that joy is our access to the promises hidden in the wells of salvation. So cheer up and get into praises to God to secure His intervention in your life. Don't ever mistake your condition for your portion.
